Grafton Screened Porch Amazing Garden & Construction recently completed the Grafton Screened Porch , a beautiful addition to a lovely Newton home. This was designed to bring the outdoors in, and to provide a shelter from the outdoor elements. It has durable, pressure-treated cedar framing that really adds a natural look that blends nicely with the landscape. The large oversized screens, which improve ventilation, are in addition to views focused on the wavy naturalism of the surrounding flow, native plant garden and colourful perennials selected to attract local wildlife. Sloped area of the property was one of the biggest difficulties we had to deal with. Our local craftsmen created a beautiful, tiered foundation of stone (also from the property itself) which not only provides structural stability but also acts as a nice transition from porch to the greenery below. This helped fix problems with runoff, as well as added a multi-dimensional space outdoors that contributed to the design as a whole. A custom composite railing system ensures safety while keeping the look sleek, and a ceiling of reclaimed wood brings warmth and history. These little demonstrate our dedication to high-quality craftsmanship. The end result is a screened porch that is beautiful, gentle, and truly a place people will be drawn to gather, both as a family space, and as a location for recreation, or just wind down for the day and listen to the wildlife.
