In the core of Newton, this remodeled a boring outdoors space into a relaxing space to unwind and entertain. There are natural and weather retardant bluestone pavers that make up the patio, hand selected on the property for their high end beauty. This herringbone pattern paver stone gives interest and help to ensure the stability. To add to that outdoor experience, we added a stunning pressure-treated cedar pergola that provides just the right amount of shade. The land is a little sloped and that was one of our biggest challenges. To complete the design, the team used locally-found granite boulders to build tiered granite boulder retaining walls for a seamless transition from the patio to the natural landscape. This himself well for drainage but also suited the overall aesthetic in a rustic way. Other features of the Rockland Full Patio include LED lights for evening entertaining, and a built-in fire pit for star gazing during more chilly nights. Native plants that blend into the ecosystem of the area but require very little upkeep flourish in drought resistant surroundings blanket the patio. The end result is an outdoor space that not only meets functionality and lifestyle requirements but also adds value and beauty to the clients home - exceeding their expectations.
