About This Project

Infinity Construction undertook a transformative renovation for a family home in Farragut, TN, aptly named "Opening It All Up." The project aimed to enhance the main level of the 10-year-old residence, which initially suffered from a lack of flow between the family room and kitchen due to a structural wall that housed the pantry. This wall not only divided the space but also posed a challenge as it supported two primary load points essential for the home’s structural integrity. Our skilled team meticulously planned a redesign that preserved safety while fostering an open and inviting atmosphere. To achieve a seamless connection between the kitchen and family room, we removed the obstructive wall and reconfigured the pantry into a more efficient layout. The new design incorporates a stunning bank of windows at the back of the home, inviting natural light and offering picturesque views of the expansive backyard, while simultaneously enhancing the overall aesthetic. The side view was also thoughtfully modified to create a more cohesive outdoor connection. In addition to the open layout, the project involved a complete overhaul of the kitchen, featuring high-quality cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances that marry functionality with style. We also rejuvenated the primary balcony and staircase, ensuring they complemented the new design while enhancing accessibility. Soundproofing was added to the master bedroom for added privacy, and the entire main level saw a luxurious refinishing of the existing floors. The laundry room was reworked for better efficiency, and the brick elements throughout the home were repainted to provide a fresh, modern look. The culmination of these efforts is a beautifully interconnected space that balances elegance with practicality, showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines Infinity Construction.
