One of the challenges of this was the slope, which included devising a solution to deal with proper drainage and erosion associated with the slope added an obstacle. It was necessary to build terraced beds and incorporate natural stone as a retaining wall to readjust to the slope. Arranging the terraced beds allowed us to eliminate the drainage issues while simultaneously providing a visually appealing feature. Near the end of the , the highlight of the is a newly constructed wood fire pit area with ample seating with fire pit bricks to entertain friends and family. This space was complimented with neatly placed outdoor lights so the aesthetic could carry into the evening.
