Residential Landscaping by Rivas Design and Landscaping, LLC Rivas Design and Landscaping, LLC is excited to show off our newest residential landscaping , a stunning outdoor retreat designed for an involved homeowner in Bristow. This reflects our emphasis on quality and creativity, highlighting the unique needs of our client while also preserving the beauty of nature on their property. The design incorporates abundant plants and flowers chosen to provide color and seasonal bloom. Native species were used in the design for sustainability and resiliency. Ornamental trees were also selected to provide more shade and visual structure. Blue stone walkways, using local material, were used to connect the garden to a sitting area for entertaining. One of the biggest challenges was the sloping yard. We needed to develop a plan to grade the space into flat, usable areas without compromising the overall quality of the garden. To accommodate the land, our team of experts used grading equipment and added a natural drainage feature to help disperse water from the planted beds to avoid erosion and water pooling and to prolong the life of the new landscape. The last step included the installation of custom landscape lighting to illuminate the textures of the plant material and hardscapes to create visual interest in the evening hours for our client's use in entertaining. This outdoor furnishings also complement the beautiful space, creating a stunning garden that not only meets the homeowner's landscaping needs but is visually stunning to build value to the property.
