About This Project

For this kitchen remodeling project, our homeowners aimed to create a brighter, more functional space that maximizes storage while enhancing the overall flow of the home. To achieve this, we began by removing the soffits and taking down the wall that previously separated the kitchen from a small office area, effectively opening up the layout. This transformation not only increased the kitchen's size but also allowed for the integration of a spacious new island. The island now serves as the heart of the home, featuring additional storage and seating, making it the perfect gathering spot for family and friends. The design choices for this kitchen were meticulously curated to ensure a fresh, modern aesthetic. The new cabinetry, crafted in Polar White, creates a clean and timeless backdrop that instantly brightens the entire space. This is beautifully complemented by Hanstone Rocky Shores Quartz countertops, which introduce subtle movement and warmth, enhancing the inviting atmosphere of the kitchen. To tie everything together, we installed a 3” x 6” Rigby Willow ceramic tile backsplash with white grout, providing a cohesive and elegant finish that elevates the overall design. In addition to the aesthetic upgrades, we focused on improving functionality. The lighting was completely updated with new LED recessed lights and stylish pendant fixtures over the island, ensuring that the space is both well-lit and visually appealing. We also redesigned the layout by relocating the refrigerator and range, significantly improving the flow and convenience for everyday cooking and entertaining. To complete the transformation, a durable luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floor was installed, extending seamlessly into the adjoining dining room. This thoughtful choice not only enhances durability but also ties the two spaces together, resulting in a fresh and unified look that embodies modern living. The outcome is a stunning kitchen that meets the needs of the homeowners while offering an inviting space for all.
