This project began with the challenge of revitalizing a neglected outdoor space that had fallen into disarray, yet still retained valuable elements worth preserving. The original landscape featured a sturdy slate patio, an upper pond, and a charming stream course, which provided a solid foundation for the redesign. To enhance the garden's functionality and aesthetic appeal, the renovation involved the careful removal of an unused hot tub pad, an above-ground pond filter, and a patchy lawn. These changes allowed for the strategic relocation of vegetable beds and the nurturing of goldfish, ensuring that the ecosystem remained vibrant and balanced. Revamping existing trellises and screens was a key step in creating a more inviting environment, emphasizing the beauty of the garden as a space for family enjoyment and relaxation.
