The Hillside Retreat project in Eugene, OR represents a harmonious blend of contemporary landscape design and architectural integrity, showcasing the evolution of a residence that has matured beautifully over time. This endeavor was initiated by a return client, providing a unique opportunity to revisit and enhance the initial vision created several years pri. Our firm was tasked with reimagining the pool area and its connectivity to the house, ensuring that every element of the design complemented the stunning hillside landscape. The redesign focused on creating new terraces and meandering walkways that seamlessly integrate with the existing F. L. Wright-inspired architecture. These pathways were carefully crafted to guide visitors through the landscape, allowing them to experience the captivating views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The materials selected for this project were meticulously chosen to reflect the natural environment, incorporating local stone and sustainably sourced wood to create a cohesive look that enhances the overall aesthetic. Craftsmanship was paramount in this project, with skilled artisans working diligently to ensure that the terraces and walkways not only serve a functional purpose but also provide visual appeal.
