Tarrytown, Austin, Texas In this new landscaping in Tarrytown, LawnPop Artificial Turf is helping to showcase the beauty and practicality of outdoor living in Austin, Texas. Covering the communities of Anderson Mill, Barton Creek, Bee Cave, and beyond we tackled the task of designing a lush, sustainable landscape that would function as a soothing retreat in addition to an active space for the client and their extended family to gather. We designed this to include durable artificial turf so the owner could be greeted with a green oasis all year round with minimal maintenance. We chose the best imitation turf that looks and feels like real grass, creating a kids-ready play area, and a pet friendly space. Besides the turf, we have also added a landscape with native Texas plants, which we selected for their drought tolerance and low maintenance needs, providing a nice variety of colors and textures to the area. The hilliest section is by far the most difficult obstacle we encountered, a terrain quintessential Tarrytown. Our solution was to beautifully grade the land into several different tiers that break up the space a bit more and also allow for better drainage. Through the garden, decorative stones were planted to ease walking while enhancing the style and fitting in with the environment. We also included a custom fire pit with comfy seating for the ultimate outdoor experience. Strategically positioned ambient lights made sure the space would still be appreciated after sunset by lighting up the paths and illuminating the highlights. The end result was a stunning landscape our clients were thrilled with and a mix of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainable design.
