This entire converted an old pool area into a magical space, marrying function with beauty! This featured stunning, handcrafted pool encased in natural stone pavers, that create a fluid transition from the patio as well as into the gardens. We soaked the area with various types of native plants suitable for the climate to provide some gorgeous greenery with little maintenance since they are drought resistant. High-end granite countertops and stainless steel appliances complete the outdoor kitchen and dining area which is the perfect space to entertain family and friends under the stars. A major hurdle in the was the slope of the site. We had taken the steps to hand-pick the local stone and build retaining walls to stabilize the landscape and look rustic in nature. Ambient lighting adds to the overall nighttime ambience, lighting paths, and emphasizing important without being intrusive. At the heart of the renovation lies the pool house which has been transformed to offer generous seating areas, a contemporary bathroom, and a casual lounge area to enjoy. The designs with large glass sliding doors that lead to the pool area create a connection to the outdoor area and allow space for family get-togethers in summer or autorun season events with great flexibility. On completion the client was over the moon with the transformation. They commented it was out of their expectations and hope their outdoor living experience had been raised to the next level.
