We started this with a comprehensive analysis of the site, which enabled our team of experts to pinpoint the best areas to propose the walls. Using locally sourced basalt stone, every wall was carefully designed to complement the site as a piece of the landscape in addition to providing the support required for the sloping topography. Part of the problem was that our ground was less than level, part of it was the fact that we had established a baseline and again had been a little too clever for our own good as the business models we all so so lovely to read were proving to be problematic in finding drainage solutions. Innovative engineering will position the water flow an appropriate distance from the walls while still preventing groundwater from ruining the wall with its high-quality drainage materials. Along with the walls, we included a lush, native planting that complemented the stonework, bringing a range of color throughout the seasons. Handmade steps were included alongside integrated lighting to cater to the accessibility and ambiance, extending the time of use from day to night. The result was a stunning landscape that services the clients practical needs while also providing a tranquil space for family get-togethers and outdoor adventures.
