This backyard patio took place in Northern Virginia, and we loved showcasing the beautiful natural setting of the client's yard, while providing a functional space for outdoor socializing and leisure. The consisted of an elegant layout that included a large dining area, a lounge space, and a fire pit for evening socializing. Utilizing high-quality and durable materials, we chose quality natural stone pavers that blended in harmoniously with the landscape surrounding it, all while ensuring longevity and low-maintenance. The color variations of the stone fit perfectly with the green foliage surrounding the patio. One of the main challenges we encountered was leveling the back yard, which had some grade issues. Our skilled masonry crew utilized modern grading strategies to level the outdoor living space while keeping the desirable plants in the yard, while protecting the ecosystem. We further ensured proper drainage to mitigate any surface water accumulation that could damage the patio and surroundings. The final product was nothing short of amazing. We turned the large patio into a destination with custom seating, beautiful outdoor lighting, and several planters with seasonal flowers around. Our clients were thrilled with the result, noting how well the patio provided the desire of the luxury they wanted alongside easy functional use. Not only did we transform their outdoor living space for enjoyment, it also enhanced the property's value beyond expectations.
