About This Project

Positas by M&T Landscape Studios This , known as 'Positas,' is a beautiful transformation in the heart of San Diego by M&T Landscape Studios. The landscape design showcases a seamless connection between utility and beauty, custom tailored to the wishes of our client. We designed a diverse range of drought tolerant plants to achieve a variety of colors and textures that thrive in the coastal climate. We selected materials, such as natural stone paths and sustainably sourced wood decks, to enhance the outdoor living aspect and consider sustainability. The water feature we had built by a local craftsman was a great addition, offering sounds of water that welcomed relaxation and serenity to the space. One of the challenges we faced on this was addressing an existing undulating terrain. Our creative solution was to create tiered planting beds that added dimensionality and improved soil drainage, which we felt was essential for the greenery to survive. In the end, we completed a fabulous landscape that beautifully represented our client's vision while enhancing the overall appeal of the property. From the minute of the garden beds to the gracious outdoor living spaces, 'Positas' captures the very purpose of M&T Landscape Studios' craftsmanship and innovative design. Our client was excited their finished and appreciated the work we completed to enhance their outdoor space, now a peaceful retreat that supports their lifestyle.
