About This Project

'Before and After' by YardWorks Set in the beautiful landscapes of Daniel Island, Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, and Sullivan's Island, YardWorks is proud to present our most recent transformation called 'Before and After'. This highlights the power of professional landscaping and how we can change an uninspired yard into a vibrant backdrop. The property began with patchy lawns, overgrown shrubs and no yard design. Our team faced the existing challenge of uneven land with poor drainage which caused excessive stress to plants and the property. We began by carefully observing the site, completing a simple assessment of areas needing grading and to improve drainage longevity and plant health. In the landscape design, we created a compatible arrangement of native plants, drought-tolerant grasses, and seasonal color of annuals for a year-round attractive look. Natural stone was used to create pathways and retaining walls, focusing on high-quality materials for durability and aesthetics. A custom irrigation system was installed for great performance in showcasing sustainability while minimizing waste on water while allowing the plants to thrive. The end result was amazing! The uninspired yard grew into a lush sanctuary, that included great seating spaces, vibrant flower gardens, and trees for shade and privacy. The clients were over the moon with the new space and loved that we went from one old yard to a new design with function and aesthetically designed outdoor spaces. 'Before and After' demonstrates YardWorks commitment to craftmanship and client satisfaction. This not only refurbished a tired space, but provided an opportunity for a deeper connection for our clients to their outdoor living space.
