The Newton Court project represents a transformative journey from a conventional kitchen to a contemporary masterpiece that exudes drama and individuality. This renovation was driven by a desire to create a space that not only serves practical purposes but also showcases exquisite design elements and high-quality materials. The original kitchen and staircase were uninspiring, prompting a reimagining of both layout and functionality. By bumping out a wall, closing an unnecessary door, opening a window for natural light, and relocating the bathroom, the design team was able to open up the space significantly, allowing for a more fluid and engaging kitchen environment. Central to the design is a stunning glass top table paired with a custom bamboo chopping block, both of which serve as focal points in this contemporary kitchen. The incorporation of Houdini glass on bathroom doors adds a unique touch, enhancing transparency and light flow while maintaining privacy. The choice of concrete countertops, complemented by a pitched inlaid stainless steel drying area, not only provides durability but also contributes to the sleek modern aesthetic. The selection of brushed stainless steel throughout further emphasizes the contemporary theme, harmonizing beautifully with the newly installed mahogany floors that add warmth and richness to the overall design.
