Outdoor Living Space with Fire Pit by Classic Stonescaping & Gardens Classic Stonescaping & Gardens proudly shares the 'Outdoor Living Area with Fire Pit' , a fantastic transformation of a client's backyard in Northern Virginia. Our skilled craftspeople designed and constructed a welcoming fire pit with natural stone seatwalls that created a warm and inviting space for family events and after-dark lounging. The patio was created with locally sourced high-quality flagstone to ensure durability and a natural aesthetic in the surrounding landscape. In addition, vibrant native plantings were included to provide seasonal color and support the local ecosystem. One of the main challenges we encountered was the unlevel site to work with, which took thoughtful planning and skilled grading to allow for appropriate drainage and usage. In response to the challenge, our point-of-view was to create a safety plan to include a multi-tiered level to provide usability and attractiveness. The finished outdoor living area is a beautiful blending of comfort and sophistication to the pleasure of our client. With custom fixtures used to accent the fire pit and plantings, it is now a great space to retreat throughout the year.
