The renovation started with a detailed site analysis that took into account the unique topography and existing plant materials. The site also involved the challenge of stepped levels which we created beautiful terraced garden beds. The client's local stone supply produced natural stone terraced garden beds that enabled and complimented the site. The stacked stone uses materials found in the surrounding landscape and the natural stone will will last long into the future. Central to the useable design was a stunning patio area of pavers. Wallace Landscape Associates selected pavers with elegant earthy colors and textures to compliment the exterior of the home. This space acts as a natural segue from the inside of the home to the exterior. Our team included custom built seating surrounding a fire pit, inserted at the back of the patio and surrounded by lush low-maintenance perennial plants, providing aesthetic pleasure year-round for both the fire pit while for not limiting use from an interior space. As with most landscapes, water management was also a critical component of the . Wallace Landscapes Associates implemented a functional drainage system to manageable the amount of water pooling. A lush lawn and plantings rely upon the mitigation of pool adequate drainage. The scene included rain gardens at different locations on the site that provided and management, identified by their raingarden vegetattion, appearance and beauty. For the finishing touches, our team selected a dozen native plant varieties due to climate conditioning, which serve climate biodiversity and growing inclusion of plants without relying on the care of unlimited irrigation. Native plants will provide functional beauties while adding to the character and charm to the outdoor space.
