Summary: Sodding of Dog Damaged Yard - Madison TJB-INC Landscape & Drainage Contractor recently completed a second major in Madison, focused on restoring a yard that had been completely ruined by dog activity. Our crew of professional landscapers understood that the would require some effort beyond aesthetics to restore the health of the soil that had been compacted and depleted of nutrients. As we experienced when we dealt with another yard revamp last year, we always approach a new with a complete examination of the yard to assess what damage had occurred, before proceeding to remove all of the desecrated space, where soil density was assessed, drainage was upheld or modified to accommodate drainage, and we ensured the soil would be amended prior to sod installation. The soil was amended with even the best organic compost to enable the soil to support the growth of very robust sod that was installed. A certified sod blend of high quality was chosen to showcase the healthiest lawn when activated. Our sod blend would be optimal for the climate experienced in the area; as well it was even noted for decreased wear from the client's dogs. Our crew installed the sod, and had to modify some care along the way, but our dedicated attention to detail always prevailed. The sodding job demanded extreme precision of levelling and sod placement, but the sod was beautifully installed and enabled a luxurious yard to repurpose for a lush yard. There were some challenges along the way like slopes in the yard and time constraints, but we had executed with excellence. When well-manicured lawns were established we delivered secure, vibrant, green and appealing lawn space; and the space was now open and safe for the family's dogs to enjoy. The delighted client was surprised at how the quality of the sod transformed their yard into a yard they could display as a clandestine landscape.
