→ Outdoor Living by Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening In the stunning land of the Pikes Peak region, Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening recently completed the 'Outdoor Living' turning a basic backyard into a beautiful get away that marries function to nature. Specializing in serving Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cascade and Peyton, our crew spent many hours planning this outdoor escape using high quality materials and out-of-the-box designs. It included durable natural stone multi-tiered patio with a modern design. A great fire pit and built in seating which was a beautiful touch where we could sit together on a warm starry night! Subtle landscape lighting showcases the best aspects of the home, providing an enchanting aura at nightfall. Probably the biggest hurdle we dealt with was the land itself, an uneven parcel of land that needed proper grading and drainage solutions in order to manage water and prevent erosion. Nothing our talented team could not work around successfully to lay proper installations, making them last. We also chose native plants that are not only complementary to the overall design but also provide an enduring and water-remedial function to the highly diverse and dry climate of Colorado. The living greenery and colorful flower beds is inviting local wildlife into the yard but providing a peaceful home for the humans. The end result was far greater than our client had envisioned and has given them a perfect space outdoors that flows perfectly from relaxation into entertaining. The shift not only increased the value of the property, but added character to the life of a family, and became the meeting point of friends and family.
