Our service area which includes Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cascade and Peyton called for a bright garden that blends in with the surrounding land, while also being exactly what the client envisioned when they called us for an outdoor sanctuary. Included wildflowers, shrubs & ornamental grasses that suit the climate conditions. We integrated elements of nature through the use of natural stones path and eco-friendly mulch around the trees to also improve biodiversity in the garden area. One of the key features was a bespoke reclaimed timber raised vegetable bed which enables the client to grow more of their own produce and reduces environmental impact. Of course, it was not without its challenges, with some very uneven ground to work with and how we are near a storm water drain to ensure that water does not pool in the backyard. This was a massive area that our team had expertly graded as well as set up a whole bunch of French drains so they are functional as well as aesthetic! The end result was a beautiful, low maintenance space that has not only met the client goals but surpassed them, and has been a pleasure to use. We finished the with a custom walk-through and a satisfied client who commented on the level of detail and quality. At Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening, we enjoy developing gardens which represent our clients lifestyles, yet maintains the beauty of the Colorado landscape.
