Description
CO2 Emergency Stop Station (DSE-1)
The DSE-1 CO2 Emergency Stop Station is an essential safety device designed to provide immediate shutdown of the CO2 supply in the event of fault detection or dangerously high CO2 levels. It operates with a 120V controlled outlet that powers CO2 solenoid valves under normal conditions. Integrated with the Carbon-X system, the DSE-1 plays a critical role in ensuring safe CO2 levels; it automatically cuts off power to the CO2 solenoid valves if any irregularities or elevated CO2 readings are detected by the connected CO2 sensors.
In the case of communication failure between the DSE-1 and the Carbon-X, the power supply to the DSE-1 is also promptly disabled, further enhancing the safety measures in place.
The operational status of the DSE-1 is easily monitored through its LED indicators, which provide clear, visual cues:
- Blinking Green Fast: Indicates that the module has either not been addressed to the controller or is experiencing connectivity issues. Addressing or linking the module can be accomplished by pressing the small button on the module upon installation.
- Blinking Green Slow: Signifies that the module is properly addressed and connected to the controller, but is currently in the OFF position.
- Solid Green: This shows that the module is actively addressed, connected, and turned ON, signifying normal operation.
- Blinking Red: Alerts to an overload condition within the module. To resolve this, simply unplug the module from the power source to reset.
This robust configuration and straightforward interface make the DSE-1 an indispensable component for maintaining environmental safety and operational integrity in facilities utilizing CO2 systems.
