Select a sunny location and sow seed in the late Spring when the soil is warm, and all danger of frost is past. For earlier blossoms start indoors 4-6 weeks before setting out. For best results, loosen soil with spade of fork, fertilize with flower food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
