Planting Information:
Best in rich, well-drained soil. Locate in full sun except in very hot climates where some afternoon shade is best. Sow seeds indoors shortly before the last frost date. For an earlier start, sow seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last expected frost. Seed is very small. Barely cover with fine soil firmly pressed down. Water regularly and fertilize twice during the summer. If high heat of midsummer stops flower production, shear plants lightly to encourage a new cycle of blooms.
