Strikingly different from the traditional golden-yellow varieties, Red Sun has become quite popular for providing a vibrant mix in the garden or as cut flowers. Free flowering, the 5-7” blooms consist of deep crimson shades of red with an even darker brown center. Bushy plants will grow up to 4-5’.
Select sunny or lightly shaded location and plant outdoors where plants are to remain, after all danger of frost is past. Cultivate soil and firm lightly over seed, keeping it moist. Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
