One of the most effective bedding plants. Attractive, compact plants produce masses of brilliant flowers in a wide variety of colors from midsummer to fall. The spreading plants are excellent in edgings, beds, rock gardens, containers and when planted en masse or as a ground cover.
Because plants develop slowly, start indoors 10-12 weeks before last frost. Cover seeds lightly and keep soil slightly moist. Transplant outdoors in sunny, well-drained location after all danger of frost is past. Soak seed overnight to hasten germination. Water moderately and feed monthly. Tolerates heat.
