Curly parsley is a mild herb and an excellent accompaniment to lighter dishes. This easy-to-grow variety has round, curly leaves and has a stronger flavor than the flat-leaf variety.
Soak seed for 24 hours then plant in sunny location as soon as soil can be worked. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed. In the fall set young plants in pots and grow on windowsill indoors. Keep soil moist, clean, and feed every 6 weeks. For best flavor, pick early in the morning. Flavoring improves with successive cuttings.
