Also known as “Butter Slicer”. A unique beet that grows long, cylindrical roots about 5in to 8in long x 1.75in across, with a sweet and tender flavor, producing 3 to 4 times more uniform slices than round beets. Excellent for slicing and eating, makes a great pickling beet.
