As their name describes, Little Fingers, are short (4"), have stubby smooth bodies and have golden, orange skins. They do well indoors in container growing and are ideal for snacking and cooking. Select sunny location with light porous soil. Cultivate deeply and plant in early spring as soon as soil can be worked, repeating every 2-3 weeks until midsummer. Fall planting recommended in mild winter areas. Sow seed sparingly, firming soil over row. Keep soil moist, weed free, and apply vegetable food every 4 weeks. Delicious when young. Begin pulling when finger size.
