bio365: Addressing the Horticulture Industry's Evolving Needs

Founded in 2015, bio365 emerged from the collective vision of four passionate innovators determined to ensure future generations have access to abundant, healthy food and high-quality medicine. Recognizing the intertwined threats of dwindling topsoil and climate change, they sought sustainable solutions to these pressing challenges.

Our Founding Team:

  • Jackie Klein: A serial inventor and philanthropist, Jackie is the driving force behind bio365's creation.
  • Michael Klein: As CEO, Michael brings a history of entrepreneurial success and leadership, including his tenure as Chairman of the Rainforest Action Network.
  • David Shearer: An environmental scientist with a notable background, David consulted on the first-generation Toyota Prius.
  • John Gaunt: Serving as Chief Science Officer, John is a respected soil scientist and former Cornell University professor dedicated to improving agricultural success in marginalized communities. He holds several patents on functionalizing biochar to combat climate change.

Recognizing the potential of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) to address these challenges, the team at bio365 developed innovative, patented technologies to enhance CEA cultivation. Their solutions enable cultivators to grow more abundant, healthier plants while improving profitability and sustainability.

  • Enhances environmental sustainability
