How to Use BIOCOCO™
For best results, adhere to these 4 simple steps:
- Select the bag or sack that fits the size of the project.
- Loosen soil mix and fill containers or planting beds level. Do not pack the soil down.
- Plant seedlings or seeds at the proper depth and lightly cover with soil. Tap gently to pop any air bubbles.
- Water well to activate the bioCHARGE™ nutrients and to help the soil settle around the roots.
- Watch the vine health, and fertilize if desired according to crop type and life stage.
The soil is best prepared by checking with a soil pH test and adjusting the pH as required. Disinfect tools and containers between uses to avoid diseases. Bring new plants into full sun or high feed situations after a few days of acclimatization.
Storage and Handling
To keep BIOCOCO™ fresh and effective:
- Keep in a cool, dry place, out of the direct sunlight.
- Seal the bags or sacks when not in use to retain moisture.
- When using, wear gloves to avoid damage to the skin's minor irritation.
Rotate stock so that older bags are used first. Check any stored soil occasionally for pests or mold; discard any infested or moldy material promptly. Keep off the ground on a pallet or shelf for long-term storage to improve air circulation and avoid dampness.
