Also known as a China Aster. This variety has big shaggy daisy-like flowers with flat petals in brilliant purples, reds, whites and pinks. Plants are tall and full, fragrant and attractive to butterflies. They will grow in the poorest of soils and can take over a garden patch if you let them. Great for honey beekeepers and attracts beneficial insects. Excellent for background plantings. Provides beautiful, long lasting cut flowers as well.
