Description

Cryptobug-L offers a targeted and effective approach to combating pest infestations in greenhouse environments. This product is designed for application on rock wool slabs for general introduction or in Diboxes placed close to or directly at a pest hotspot. The strategic placement among infected leaves enhances its efficacy in targeting and controlling pests.

For optimal results, Cryptobug-L should be applied in the evening, aligning with the natural behavior of the Cryptolaemus beetles. These beetles, known as mealybug destroyers, are the active agents in Cryptobug-L. They are most active and effective at temperatures between 25°C/77°F and 28°C/82.4°F. While the minimum temperature for successful use is 16°C/60.8°F, Cryptolaemus beetles thrive in warmer conditions with high relative humidity.

When using Cryptobug-L, it's essential to consider the life stages of the beetles. Larvae are particularly effective for hotspot treatments due to their ability to target specific areas with higher pest concentrations. However, the adult beetles are more mobile and are better suited for general introductions or in crops with taller growth.

In terms of storage and transport, Cryptobug-L should be kept out of direct sunlight and stored at temperatures between 43-50°F. It is crucial to use the product within 18 hours of receipt to ensure the viability and effectiveness of the Cryptolaemus beetles. Following these guidelines will help maximize the impact of Cryptobug-L in controlling pest populations, offering a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for greenhouse growers.
