Amblyseius cucumeris is a predatory mite known for its voracious appetite for thrips larvae. This beneficial mite species also targets broad mites and cyclamen mites, with some ability to control spider mites, although to a lesser extent. Its affordability and effectiveness make it a highly desirable choice for thrips control, particularly in operations where temperatures remain below 85°F.

Description

The formulation is meticulously crafted to enhance the daily release of predatory Amblyseius cucumeris mites onto the crop.

At 75°F, the total development time for Cucumeris mites is 6-9 days, aligning well with the lifecycle of Western Flower Thrips.
Cucumeris mites thrive in an optimal temperature range of 66-80°F, with humidity levels between 65% and 75%.
These beneficial mites feed on the first larval stage (L1) and are unable to attack larger larvae or adults.
