Amblyseius cucumeris is known to prey on the larvae of various thrips species. Additionally, it targets broad mites, cyclamen mites, and to a lesser extent, spider mites. Due to their cost-effectiveness, they are a highly desirable choice for thrips control, particularly in environments where temperatures remain below 85°F.

Description

The formulation of our product is meticulously crafted to enhance the daily release of predatory Amblyseius cucumeris mites onto crops. These predatory mites play a crucial role in controlling pest populations.

At 75°F, the total development time for Cucumeris mites ranges from 6 to 9 days, aligning perfectly with the lifecycle of Western Flower Thrips, one of their primary targets.

The optimal temperature range for Cucumeris mites is between 66 and 80°F, with humidity levels ideally maintained between 65% and 75%. These conditions promote the mites' activity and effectiveness in controlling pest populations.

These beneficial mites primarily feed on the first larval stage (L1) of pests, such as thrips, and are not effective against larger larvae or adult pests.
