Founded in 2004 by Todd and Erik, two surfers from San Clemente, Organics Alive has its roots deeply embedded in a profound connection to the ocean. Their experiences as surfers—observing the rhythm of the tides, experiencing the harmony and discord of the waves, and respecting the delicate balance of nature—shaped their philosophy and approach to building a sustainable business.

Inspired by the lessons learned from the ocean, such as humility, patience, commitment, and the interconnectedness of ecosystems, Todd and Erik established Organics Alive. Their vision was to create a sustainable agronomic company that provides an alternative to toxic chemical fertilizers, advocating for a natural, organic, and sustainable method of gardening and agriculture.

Organics Alive dedicates considerable time and resources to developing innovative and progressive fertilizer technologies. The company specializes in vermiculture, fermentation, microbial extraction, and carbon-based fertilizers, all produced without reliance on animal by-products, intensive mining, or conventional salt-based components.
