Native Landscapes Inc. is excited to showcase 'Onsite Design,' a beautiful landscaping undertaken in the beautiful landscape of Southeastern New York and Western Connecticut. This was a great opportunity to showcase our dedication to quality workmanship and our passion for designing beautiful outdoor spaces. Our client was looking for a landscape that was functional and aesthetically pleasing to their natural surroundings. We began with an interactive consultation to find out what they preferred and how they wanted to use the landscape. Working with our team of designers, we developed a comprehensive design plan incorporating dozens of native plant species, sustainable materials, and creative hardscaping features. The featured many creative highlights, including a gorgeous stone patio built of locally sourced bluestone that provided durability and elegant gathering space for friends and family. We developed a winding path made from reclaimed brick, which leads a visitor through a lush garden of colorful perennial flowers and ornamental grasses chosen for their ability to thrive in the climate. One challenge of the was the natural topography of the site. To create a level patio footprint, our skilled team of landscapers, created slopes to allow for grading and drainage for water to run off without pooling and to prevent soil erosion. This was a key element of the because it improved the outdoor functions of the space while upholding its ecological context. The end result was a stunning landscape that exceeded the homeowner's expectations. The selection of native plants featured not only great color and texture, but also attracted birds and wildlife, ultimately enhancing the biodiversity. The outdoor living space became a beautiful and peaceful retreat for relaxing or entertaining families, and the use of hardscaping creatively featured plants together and provided a coherent outdoor aesthetic.
