Modern Tranquility by Campion Walker Landscapes Our ‘Modern Tranquility’ , located in the peaceful hills of Agoura, is a perfect representation of the synthesis of modern style with nature, created by Campion Walker Landscapes. To this large outdoor area was created a peaceful hide-away including a designed plan integrating the feeling of luxuriant growth with modern hardscaping. One of the important features was a custom water feature which is the center piece of the giving delicate sounds that add to the feeling of peace. The materials used are of the best quality with the walking areas composed of natural stones and the composite decking in the areas for lounging, aesthetically pleasing but with durability, low maintenance needed. The plants were specifically chosen with due recognition being given to the native aspects of California, which gives an inherently sustainable loved aspect with the knowledge that the plants are the right ones for any season for color and texture to show. One of the problems that we had to deal with here was the awkwardness of the ground on which the lay and suitable grading processes which had to be with the proper drainage and area for walking and gardening. Here we worked hard to find appropriate landscaping solutions, the good grading treatment being made use of. With tiered garden beds all the problems dealt with there is an attractive and positive aspect to it. The aspect of the work here is an outdoors area that is charming to our clients. The combination of modernity and nature is perfectly blended in the ‘Modern Tranquility’ which fits in so well in this way.
