About This Project

The Hurst St Bathroom renovation transformed an ordinary bathroom into a luxurious oasis, meticulously designed to enhance both aesthetics and functionality. Located in the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA, this project focused on creating a sophisticated bathing experience that marries comfort with elegance. Central to the renovation was the replacement of the standard builder's tub with an exquisite whirlpool tub, inviting relaxation and indulgence. Due to the constraints of the existing layout, we retained the tub/shower configuration, yet our innovative design extended the shower curtain rod beyond the typical alcove. This thoughtful adjustment not only enhances the visual appeal but also allows for seamless transitions between the bath and shower, ensuring that the shower curtain is discreetly out of the way when not in use. The choice of materials played a pivotal role in achieving the luxurious atmosphere. The outdated man-made marble tub surround was replaced with a stunning combination of iridescent glass mosaic tiles and high-quality porcelain tiles, introducing texture and depth while reflecting light beautifully throughout the space. This striking juxtaposition not only elevates the overall design but also adds a touch of modern elegance. In addition to the structural enhancements, we upgraded the plumbing fixtures and trim to the Waterworks Julia series in polished nickel, providing a timeless and sophisticated finish. Each element was carefully selected to maintain a cohesive design language that resonates with the eclectic charm of New Orleans. The outcome of the Hurst St Bathroom renovation is a harmonious blend of luxury and practicality, providing an inviting space for relaxation and rejuvenation. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the bathroom not only meets but exceeds client expectations.
