Backyard Paradise by Dreamscape Designers Landscape Company At Dreamscape Designers Landscape Company, we had the opportunity to convert a typical backyard into a back yard oasis called "Backyard Paradise" in Norfolk. This designed by our team focused on balancing beauty and function; ultimately making our kind client's taste a reality. One of the main features of this lovely space is a unique custom stone patio constructed with native bluestone in a style that fits the surrounding bedrock. Around the patio we planted various native plants, including bright day lilies and aromatic lavender that support local wildlife and looks terrific. To ensure consistent beauty year-round, we added evergreen shrubs and flowering perennials to keep the overall space lush. One of challenges was the requirement to regrade some uneven parts of the yard and incorporate drainage plans. Our talented team created a sustainable drainage area to address water flow, prevent erosion and ensure the longevity of our installation. Furthermore, we also added our client's own design with a custom fire pit with durable seating for comfort and relaxation. The cherry on top of the cake of "Backyard Paradise," is the soothing water feature that spills cascadingly into an existing bed of lily pads. Our team selected quality native stone we installed to drip to pop with soft lining, blurry design, and a mixture of color to break between the existing grass, stone patio and nature. Our final outcome, exceeded our client's expectation, allowing our client to enjoy a charming escape from the world and enhance their outdoor living area! "Backyard Paradise" stands as an example of our commitment to quality workmanship and establishment of a distinct garden design. Easy access to Chesapeake or Norfolk or Virginia Beach; it lovely space is worth enjoying!
