Backyard Patio by Dreamscape Designers Landscape Company Located in the heart of Virginia Beach, Dreamscape Designers Landscape Company's Backyard Patio was an incredible transformation of an underused outdoor space into the perfect retreat for relaxation and entertaining. Dreamscape serves the communities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, and our team had the unique task of delving into a space with a slope in it - providing an opportunity for grading solutions that would allow drainage and proper access. Our end-product consisted of a stunning, high-quality, crafted, durable paver patio constructed from stones that blend beautifully with the feel of the natural space. Each paver was carefully selected based on color and textural quality to pair cohesively with the surrounding landscape. Adjacent to the paver patio lays a rustic fire pit with classy seating engulfing that area for those cozy stargazing mornings and evenings. The forever changing ambiance is simultaneously met with native plantings that add vibrancy and color that we accentuated with strategically placed soft landscape lighting - illuminating not only the outdoor gathering space but the luscious greenery as well! Completing the with a customized structure of a pergola, as an added aesthetic and component for shade, truly encapsulates the outdoor living area as a complete gathering space both day and night. Along the way we faced a number of challenges; factoring variations in soil conditions and stabilizing the overall patio structure - as if it were original built by the client’s vision then combining the ultimate combination of the patio’s hardscaping and the softscaping the process was truly seamless in reflection of not only what client tasked us with but elevating overall property value of the home. Needless to say - the transformation completely blew the client away. The client in fact spends much of their time in outdoor, functional use of the space, while fully realizing the exquisite extension of beauty combined with use of their home incorporating outdoor use of their property for refreshment and recreation.
