Waterway 2 by TruDesign Studio TruDesign Studio is excited to announce their 'Waterway 2' which is an incredible renovation located in the heart of Garden City. This unique landscaping epitomizes the dedication and experience TruDesign Studio prides itself on while serving clients in and around coastal communities such as Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, Surfside Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, and Sunset Beach. The 'Waterway 2' consists of a thoughtfully designed water feature that serves as both a beautiful aesthetic and functional purpose from an ecological standpoint. The design incorporates a tranquil pond with a waterfall that cascades down the rocks. The natural stone used throughout the was locally sourced and blended in nicely with the elements. The waterway was framed out with native plant material chosen for their ability to thrive and thrive while mitigating maintenance, keeping the environment green and vibrant throughout the year. One of the significant problems we faced with the site was that the existing drainage was less than desirable. Our team developed an ingenious solution that included a drainage mechanism allowing water flow and minimizing erosion. The drainage solved a significant problem and also augmented the overall beauty of the landscape, as well as ensured longevity. To enhance the outdoor experience, we had a custom stone patio built with an outdoor fire pit - a great addition for gathering under the stars. The patio was constructed with durable, weather-resistant materials as it will be exposed to the coastal elements. The 'Waterway 2' renovation will provide the homeowner with incredible scenes and surroundings that balance functionality with the natural aesthetic. The client was thrilled with the process and outcome. The enhanced the value of their property while also providing a private escape for themselves, family and friends to enjoy peaceful tranquility.
