About This Project

East 2 by Old World Brick Paving Located in the lovely community of Addison, East 2 embodies the passion and craftsmanship Old World Brick Paving is known for all around the Chicago area. It is a significant landscaping , transforming a traditional backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space for entertaining and relaxation. The design features a custom patio with high-quality, long-lasting bricks that evoke the traditional old-world feel and aesthetics of the home. We planted several beautiful native perennial beds with colorful blooms to foster our local pollinators during the season. Notable to our design was a gracious stone path, allowing guests to stroll through the lush landscaping and arrive at a peaceful seating area surrounded by specialty shrubs and ornamental grasses. One challenge associated with this was the uneven land, which required professional grading and existing drainage systems to allow for proper yard maintenance and leveling for the patio and pathways. Our expert team used specialized methods to overcome these hurdles in the design to ensure that all of the components worked cohesively with the natural landscape. The exceeded the client's expectations, and the outdoor space worked effectively with the home in a seamless integration of beauty and function! The family of homeowners were overjoyed their outdoor space that would accommodate family gatherings or being outdoors in the evenings. This reflects Old World Brick Paving’s values regarding quality, craftsmanship, and customer commitment to serving communities in Schaumburg to Wilmette.
