Located in Elmhurst, the specific turned a regular home into an amazing outdoor space. Our team spent over 500 hours creating the hardscape and softscape elements that not only made the home more aesthetically pleasing, but added function to outdoor living. Among the improvements included a custom-brick patio that was made of quality pavers to be durable. The patio is a cozy spot for family and friends to gather and connects nicely to an expansive finished garden with native plants and seasonal flowers. By using primarily drought tolerant plants, the home is now supporting local ecology while providing nearly maintenance-free enjoyment to the homeowners. A significant challenge with the was deciding how to address an existing drainage issue that jeopardized the landscape's integrity. Our team came up with innovative drainage solutions and managed the water wisely while still keeping the design's aesthetic nice. Addressing the drainage issue not only worked, but extended the life of the many landscaping features put in place as part of this . In the end, we produced a beautiful landscape that encompassed hardscapes blended with lush greenery that can be enjoyed year round. The enthusiastic feedback from the delighted homeowners validated our attention to detail and the overall transformation to their home while they noted it was now their favorite space to hang out.
