Modern Landscape by The Plant Concierge The Plant Concierge is delighted to showcase the 'Modern Landscape' , an exciting landscaping transformation undertaken for a challenged client in North Dallas. This extensive landscaping combines modern design and landscaping to bring an improved outdoor space. Key features of this included custom hardscaping installed using natural stone and modern concrete pathways to lead guests through a well-designed garden. Drought tolerant plants were used to not only provide beauty but to support sustainable modern landscaping. Plants included ornamental grasses, succulents, and native Texas plants all artistically installed to encourage color and texture layers throughout the year. One significant challenge that arose because of the sloped lot, was figuring out how to use retaining walls. Our design and build team constructed those walls out of natural stone and engineered them to create planting areas while providing a stable and drainage situation. This provided elevation, and the stone looks great too! The finished landscape is a beautiful outdoor oasis enhanced by a cozy area to gather around the fire pit surrounded by low-maintenance perennial beds. The client was extremely happy with the outcome and was excited with the modern design and practicality. The 'Modern Landscape' is a wonderful reflection of The Plant Concierge's quality, creativity, and commitment to customer satisfaction, a great add to Addison, Carrollton, Garland, and beyond! Every detail was taken care of, which demonstrates what good design and good build can achieve.
