About This Project

Stone Creek Farm The Stone Creek Farm landscaping is one half of an eye-opening before and after shot set in the middle of Stockton. Completed by Britney O'Donnell Garden Design. In this large outdoor space, we see a mixture of natural beauty and modern design elements, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. This features beautifully designed native plant gardens with habitat suitable species selected to thrive in the local climate and providing year round beauty. An impressive stone path traverses the property using natural stone that is sourced nearby and compliments the rustic feel of the farm. In addition to improving accessibility, this pathway offers visitors a guided tour of the enchanting landscape and eventually pathed the way towards the fire pit area, tastefully draped in greenery and flowers depending on the season. The most daunting challenge faced in this was the severity of the slope of the land that required various grading solutions to keep the space both functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. We used tiered planting beds to our advantage, and boulders become views. It also has its own sustainable irrigation design that conserves water but also keeps the plants alive and thriving. The end product is a stunning outdoor retreat which pays homage to the clients original vision as well as the natural organising beauty of Stockton area. Stone Creek Farm showcases the quality of work and professionalism that comes from Britney O'Donnell Garden Design through the careful selection of hardscaping materials, diverse plant palette, and design layout, all of which left the homeowner overjoyed and waiting to host family and friends to their new outdoor retreat!
