This impressive garden remodel displays a selection of curated landscape items which make the surrounding area more visually appealing and useful to the home. During initial discussions, our team recognized that the client was looking for an oasis that balanced calm with vibrance, as well as a space for retreat and one for the congregation. They started by clearing away the overgrown shrubbery and unnecessary elements, exposing the potential of what could be a beautiful landscape. We worked with a wide bio-diverse range of native plants that is sustainable and easy to maintain to promote local biodiversity. The stylish stone path is another notable detail of Garden Grandeur; the gorgeous bluestone is natural and sourced locally. It leads visitors through an interconnected design of flowering perennials, ornamental grasses, and sculptural evergreens for an ever-changing display year-round. Additionally, we erected a custom cedar wood pergola over the dining area and planted jasmine to climb around it, providing both shade and romance for outdoor meals. Like any , there were challenges, particularly the challenging site topography and drainage. Our expert grading plan combined with the creation of a French drain system allowed for water to be collected, drained, and the plants to flourish without washing away the soil.
