Brentwood Estates Development | Cumming, GA Completed by: Greenshooz Landscaping The BEaudREau: Nestled in its own corner of Lake Lanier, the Brentwood Estates Subdivision in Cumming, GA, serves as a beacon of design and craftsmanship thanks to the hard work of Greenshooz Landscaping. Situated at the base of this pleasant foothill location, this extensive residential development needed to transform the landscape to fit the beauty of the land whilst catering to the modern residence need for utility function. The included a large 30-acre area with a complete landscaping plan created by our team. Among the important features: the installation of native plant gardens that flourish in the Georgia climate, fostering biodiversity while conserving precious water resources. Our plant selections consisted of perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs, which ensure color and texture throughout all seasons to be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Because of the unusual topography of the site, there were slopes and drainage issues, which presented a major challenge for us. In order to fix this, we designed a complex drainage system with stunning stone retaining walls, built from locally quarried granit, that would both hold the dirt in place, and look beautiful. Meandering pathways created with permeable pavers enabled easy access in and out of the subdivision while allowing rain to percolate back into the ground, which was a step towards sustainability. Greenshooz Landscaping also focused on outdoor living spaces, with inviting communal areas that have picnic spots and calming seating areas with flower beds. We had our team incorporate hardscaping like boulders and a so-far custom fire pit in the community to build up neighborhood and mix and mingle between residents. The completed surpassed their innovation vision and has turned Brentwood Estates into a stunning home/community that represents quality, care and sustainable development. At the end of the day, the complimentary feedback received from both client and homeowners proves the value of our meticulous handcrafted landscaping.
