Liberty Subdivision | Cumming, Georgia The Liberty Subdivision in Cumming, GA is a premier from Greenshooz Landscaping that showcases the ideal combination of form and function. The itself was crafted to be sustainable and low maintenance while still beautifying the community nature. This was not without its obstacles as we had to deal with existing drainage issues as well as extremely uneven terrain. We overcame these obstacles with creative grading methods and installing an extensive drainage system so that water drains away from homes. The landscaping is colorful, bursting with native plants such as ornamental grasses, shrubs and seasonal flowering plants that all flourish in the California climate without the use of extra water. We introduced inviting communal areas with refined stone walkways and ornamental rocks that guide residents through the verdant environment wrapped in rustic charmmore. At the center was a custom-created wooden pergola made out of sustainably harvested cedar, which provided shelter and a place for residents to all congregate. We planted a lush mix of mulch and river rock around this structure to not only beautify but also preserve the soil. The end result entails a beautifully manicured community but one with lifestyle appeal with residents who feel enlivened and at home with lots of positive feedback from the client on how nature speaks to their living arrangements.
