Adams Residence, Newport Beach, CA Completed by Rescom Landscaping, Inc. The Adams Residence in Newport Beach was an exciting landscape by Rescom Landscaping, Inc. that catered functionality with great stylistic appeal. The challenge was to develop a landscape that related to the coastal area while providing both entertainment and comfort for their family. We began by developing a multi-tiered garden with various native Californian plants sustained the natural landscape while aiding to create a natural ecology on the property. The passive flow of the stone path made up of local flagstone sloped through the garden to various garden rooms like a koi pond and a native flower bed. The second primary feature of this landscape , along with the multi-tiered garden and stone path, was an expansive outdoor living area. This area included a custom constructed cedar pergola with outdoor furniture and included a fire pit for entertaining family and guests on a starry night. Our challenges during this included the reference site slope and sandy soil typical of Newport Beach. Throughout the process, our team put coordination into grading and soil stabilization techniques. The overall outcome was both eloquent and natural beauty beyond our client's expectations. The Adams family were now enjoying a hospitably designed landscape that reflected their lifestyle, including vegetation with color and luxuriously decorated functional spaces.
