Donner Residence - Estate Garden Maintenance The Donner Residence was created by J. Gieo Pensoneault, MLA, showcases our commitment to excellence in landscaping and garden maintenance. The only way to describe the estate garden located in the peaceful surrounds of Black Forest, was that it needed a two-pronged attack of detailing for enjoyment, while sustainability and resilience were also essential. The challenge was to refresh the expansive landscape, which housed a combination of native plantings, ornamental trees, and seasonal flower beds. Superior quality was sought throughout , particularly with the use of regionally grown stone for pathways and retaining walls which were fit for the environment. Friendly mulch not only looked 'friendly' but also maintained soil moisture and temperatures, throughout the ecology of the site, while visually contributing). One of the biggest challenges was to achieve a landscape with a markedly level of faulting while maintaining the natural character of the property. The skilled team engaged brought to life a multi-story garden that enhanced both accessibility and visual relief with each seasonal layer of plant color and texture. The high-end irrigation replaced (consistently good), as every Colorado day would require developing an efficient watering system. As a result, an estate garden was developed to the shorts of magnificent beauty of the surrounding landscape while serving as a lush retreat for the owners. From flowing flowers, healthy plants, and clean paths, the Donner Residence garden is not just a visual display, but an outdoor shelter that meets the needs of each requirement for the owner.
